These are the challenges you face when taking this journey to an eventual somewhere. Some will say you’re going nowhere fast. Obviously the aren’t paying attention; you’re not doing anything fast. You can try to convince them, but only the die-hard "8th Day Eventualist" can stand the true eventualism needed to pull off that daunting feat. As a beginner, you’re better off just going about your own eventual business, that way you keep your focus. And focus is incredibly important when you’re getting things done eventually.
The thing you’ll need to focus on most is to make sure you’re actually Effing The Dog, rather than doing nothing at all (or doing things in circles). I can’t stress this enough; when you implement EffTD, you are working towards a clear result…the getting there is just an eventual process. If you simply do a whole lot of nothing and pretend to to be doing something – even eventually – you are NOT Effing The Dog. Some would say you’re just “effing around.”
So, this wrong turn I’m talking about an be an easy one to make if you are not focused on focusing on eventual productivity. Focus on that. That way, your focus is focused in a focused manner that will allow you to be focussing on what needs your focus.
I don’t think I can be any clearer on this.
